Parent
Coaching
Being mindful of ourselves, while also attending to our children’s specific needs, helps create a trusting and healthy parent-child relationship.
Here at Willow Tree, we are here to support both you and your child in their mental health, while also offering guidance and support in the parenting journey. We can help you understand your child’s needs, talk through the parenting approaches that haven’t worked, and explore options that feel better for both you and your child.
Co-parenting is one the most important (and difficult) parts of raising children. Whether you are experiencing conflict due to a difference in parenting style or strategy, or navigating parenting across separate households, it can be difficult to determine what your child needs when you disagree.
At Willow Tree, together we can work to reduce conflict, improve communication, and build collaborative parenting strategies that can help your child feel secure and cared for by all of their caregivers.

FAQ
I don't get along with my ex-spouse. Do we need to be in session together to receive co-parent coaching?
No. We are happy to meet with you separately with the shared and clear goal of supporting you in parenting your child in accordance to their needs.
I need custody recommendations. Can you make custody recommendations?
No, but we can refer you to local custody evaluators who can provide that service.
I am feeling overwhelmed as a parent and am struggling to manage my emotions when dealing with my child. Do I need my own therapist?
We provide sessions for parents of our individual clients to help them in their parenting goals and to help them manage the barriers to being the kind of the parent their child needs.
